Cushion Commission

Another friend from college had me over at her place and we were talking with her mother who had grown quite fond of me. She had heard from her daughter that I do a little bit of sewing work. As being an older woman with specific allergies and sensitivities she asked me if I could create something for her that would be comfortable. There was an old bench that she had been holding onto that she had been wanting to use again, however her body could not take sitting in the hard wood seat anymore. She asked me if I could create a cushion for her so that she could be comfortable, stylized and allergy friendly. This was a fun little project that helped me explore fabrics in a different way.
